Rolling in my five point oh ;)

I hate to do it, but the Mustang just doesn't get any attention anymore since the purchase of the Z06. I can't justify just having it sit in the garage any longer. Although it's for sale, I'm in no hurry to move it. I will stick with the price I have listed until further notice. Please, no offers other than price above.

Car Info:

Miles: < 55,000 (That's total car mileage, not just the motor). I did have Kim Barr Racing put in different pistons and cut valve reliefs to accomodate the high lift cam and lower compression a little for the 14lb's of boost.. Kim Barr estimated compression to be around 8.8:1. I did a short block swap at that point. There is around 25,000 miles on the motor.

Owner Info: I am the 2nd owner. I bought it when it had only 9,000 miles and smelled new when I bought it. Clean title.

Condition: The car is in fanstastic condition inside and out. The paint on the GT ground effects have aged like another other Mustang GT. It has the usual rock chips on the front lower ground effects (grey part, not the green paint). This car has never had bodywork and has never been wrecked. The only dent in the metal is a small door ding that has been there since I bought it. It's been drag raced at the Texas Motorplex a handful of times in the 90's; but as witnessed by the 1.85 60' time below, it wasn't abused. The interior is as good as you are going to get! It has been garaged 90% of it's life and car covered the other 10%. It hasn't seen rain since the 90's. You don't see Fox body's in this condition very often. I regret not driving it more, but that's your gain.

Misc: The car has always easily passed the smog inspection. Since I put the 3" exhaust on, the stock cat pipe no longer fits for inspection time. I'm in the process of getting metallic substrate cats installed. I also had to evacuate the A/C and never repaired it, I plan on fixing that as well. It drives like any other Mustang so you will need to be serious about the purchase before driving it. Since 500hp can be dramatic in a Fox body, I will limit the RPM via the PMS computer on test drives unless I am driving.

Maintenance items:

I put new tires on it two years ago that currently have less than 500 miles on them (Kumho Z-Rated).

The front shocks were replaced with Tokico 5 way adjustable (not the drag race style).

It gets Mobile 1 synthetic for every oil change.

Notes:
Notes: This run and horsepower was with the old 36lb injectors, 2 1/2 exhaust, small intake plumbings, and without the PMS computer to tune. There was no real tuning done at all. It was also done with the stock T5 so the launch RPM was extremely conservative. It should be good for very low 11's to high 10's @ ~128MPH when dialed in and launched more aggressively.
